Many asset owners have emphasised the need for much greater and more sophisticated engagement by asset owners of their investment managers, particularly when it comes to stewardship focused on systemic issues. Engaging collaboratively could increase the effectiveness of such efforts, but it can be difficult to find like-minded asset owners with which to collaborate.
