CCLA Investment Management and LAPFF invite investors and investor representatives to co-sign a letter to FTSE 100 UK companies (minus investment trusts) that over the past three years have not put their climate transition plans to a shareholder vote.

Collaboration details

We invite you to join us in signing a collaborative letter to FTSE 100 companies that over the past three years have not put their climate transition plans to a shareholder vote.

Investors do not have to be a shareholder in every company to sign up. Further participation in engagement is not a requirement to signing. It is proposed to make the text of the letter and signatories public.

Objectives

The letter seeks to determine companies' intentions regarding submitting their transition plans for shareholder approval at upcoming AGMs and encourages adherence to emerging best practices for climate strategy disclosure and shareholder engagement.
