Investing in a Safer Gaming Future
With over 83 million U.S. players affected by hate and harassment in online games in 2023, the business case for action is clear: companies that fail to address these challenges may face legal, regulatory, and reputational risks, thereby threatening long-term profitability. We seek to convene a working group addressing issues in the gaming sector.
This working group will address the rapidly rising rates of online hate and harassment within the gaming sector. Our goal is to convene a group of interested investors who will come together to learn more about this issue (we have expert gaming researchers and would love to share their findings), engage companies together, and draft a letter to companies outlining asks.
To educate each other about these issues, engage companies collaboratively, and send a letter to gaming company leadership.
